We also believe that published information should be available to the widest possible audience, especially researchers, so that apart from our own research capabilities, we seek to make research material available to those who, for whatever reason, would usually be denied access.

OUR APPROACH

We are researchers, pure and simple, but we’re also capable of looking in the round, we dare to ‘think outside the box’. We look at other ways of delving into the past which fully involves our clients, in an exciting and fulfilling way. In short, our work is our lives.  We are enthusiastic in what we do but it never detracts from our professionalism.

For us, communication is everything. We communicate with our clients continually and they like to communicate with us.  We discuss and agree in advance what we think we can find, who we can find, how we approach the material and/or people and we make sure that the client remains involved in what we do every step of the way, involving the client throughout, although it is the Huguenot Trails team that does the work.
